9th July, 2009. Launch of the Kells Pink Ribbon Walk for Action Breast Cancer. The aim of the event is to get 500 women to participate in a 10k walk along the new Girley bog walk trail near Kells in September to raise funds for the charity. The launch took place in Carol Mallon's house at Balrath Bury, Kells.
